General Terms & Conditions

We operate exclusively in compliance with the 'Vertragsbedingungen für den Güterkraftverkehrs- und Logistikunternehmer (VBGL)' (Standard Terms and Conditions for Haulage and Logistics Operators) published by the BGL (German Association for Haulage, Logistics and Waste), as amended.

For transnational transport, we operate in compliance with CMR (Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road)

Place of jurisdiction and fulfilment is Bremen/Germany

1. Liability under German law

Liability insurance for trucks and chassis (unlimited cover)

For damage to goods: liability in accordance with 'GüKG' (German Road Haulage Act) and the 'Vertragsbedingungen für den Güterkraftverkehrs- und Logistikunternehmer (VBGL)' (Standard Terms and Conditions for Haulage and Logistics Operators) published by the BGL (German Association for Haulage, Logistics and Waste), as amended.

In the case of performance by rail, liability is based on the Standard Performance Conditions of DB Cargo AG and is limited on principle to 8.33 Special Drawing Rights.

2. Separate supplementary insurance

'General forwarder's and carrier's liability insurance' for damage to containers and chassis

Subsidiary liability (transnational transports only) for CMR damages where subcontractor liability insurance does not exist
